The Gastroenterology Division is excited to host Santhi Swaroop Vege, MD, MACG as our esteemed Burton Shatz Visiting Professor. Dr. Vege has published extensively on pancreatitis and has conducted international consensus meetings, revised the classification, and authored multiple guidelines and technical reviews. He is President of the International Association of Pancreatology and has held numerous leadership roles in ACG. He has a busy clinical practice and has received numerous master teacher awards.
