Biography

Dr. Blanc joined the laboratory of Dr. Nicholas O. Davidson in the Division of Gastroenterology in 2005 as a Research Instructor. She received her Master in Science degree in Biology (1992) and PhD in Biology (1996) degree from Université de Bordeaux II, France. Prior to joining the Division, she pursued her postgraduate training from 1996-1999 as a Post-doctoral Fellow at Howard Hughes Medical Institute, UCLA.

Research Interests

Dr. Blanc’s research interests focus on molecular genetics of lipid transport, on the post-transcriptional regulation of gene expression, particularly mRNA editing and on the regulation of cytokine expression and inflammation in the setting of colorecto-cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma.
