Dr. Dey joined the Inflammatory Bowel Disease faculty at Washington University in 2011. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF). He received his M.D. from Yale University and B.A. from Harvard University. Dr. Dey is interested in understanding gut microbial communities and their role in health and disease: “I believe this area of investigation is a natural focus of translational research, one which will facilitate personalized medicine in the care of patients with IBD.”
