Jen-Jung Pan, M.D., Ph.D.

Assistant Professor of Medicine

Dr. Pan joined the Division of Gastroenterology as Assistant Professor of Medicine in September, 2009. Dr. Pan attended medical school at National Yang-Ming Medical College in Taipei, Taiwan and graduated in 1993. He then came to the US where he obtained his PhD in Experimental Pathology at SUNY Buffalo. Following completion of his PhD, JJ then undertook residency training in internal medicine at SUNY& Buffalo and then moved to the University of Florida for GI Fellowship training, which he completed in 2008. JJ then stayed on for a fourth year of specialty training in Transplant Hepatology, which he completed in June 2009. JJ has accumulated significant experience in the care and management of patients with advanced liver disease, particularly patients with Hepatitis C and Wilson’s disease and has a special interest in transplant hepatology.
